The Innovative Team is led by Trevor & Heather Brown, a husband and wife team that have each been in construction for over 20 years and bring a wealth of knowledge in remodeling and new construction building methods.
Being "Innovative" is not just something Heather & Trevor talk about, it's something they truly believe in and that passion led to the creation of IBP in 2019. As a building products distributor, we stock the following:
ICF Block, radiant heat floor panels, Simpson specialty hangers, adhesives and foam sealants, PlumWall bracing/alignment systems, door and window buck systems, InSoFast insulation panels, and multiple options for waterproofing.
Trevor grew up in the construction industry, working for his Dad at the local lumber yard while in high school and started his first ICF company in 2000 as an installer and distributor of Blue Maxx/Arxx. In 2015, he transitioned to a Territory Manager for Amvic Building System teaching and training in the Western US. During this time he was also a speaker/trainer for organizations such as the NRMCA and NAHB. As one of the owners of IBP, Trevor serves many roles including Sales/Project Manager, Consultant, as well as the Certified ICF & Waterproofing Trainer.
Gavin was born and raised in Boise, Idaho always wondering about on his father's ICF job sites until he was old enough to start helping out. He quickly progressed in his trade and became a foreman running his own ICF stacking crew during the summer months when he was 17. Gavin attended Borah High School where he excelled in everything from AP courses, football, lacrosse and the welding program. After high school Gavin made the move to Coeur D'Alene to attend the North Idaho College welding program where he obtained his 6g SMAW welding certification quickly, followed by an advanced first aid certification. During college Gavin advanced his welding and fabrication knowledge at a popular off-road fabrication shop (Hazzard Fab Worx) working and welding on highly modified vehicles. Gavin does take time for himself to enjoy fishing, working out, playing lacrosse, and working on his vehicles.
Trevor, or Carp as we call him, was born and raised on a beautiful forest property in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. At a technical school Carp found his love for welding during his senior year and has continued his education in welding since then including achieving his 3G, 4G, and 6G SMAW welding certifications. Carp has shown an interest in business throughout high school and worked closely with a small business owner where he learned basic accounting, customer relations, product assempby, and the day to day tasks required when operating a business. Following in his father's footsteps, Carp is a hobbyist drummer and his other hobbies include fishing, training with and building firearms, working on vehicles, and spending time with family.

Wyatt and his older brother began their own ranch hand/labor business at the age of 13 and 15, where he found a passion for hard work. Along the path of ranch handing, Wyatt had the opportunity of repairing a tractor bucket discovering his love for welding. To further his education and welding skills Wyatt enrolled in North Idaho College's welding course achieving his 3G and 6G SMAW certifications along with a first aid certification.
